Match 1
G1
Sc2cl Shakuras Plateau
Svensken blocked the expansion with a engineering bay, which really put Fetzer very behind, because he is not used to being blocked in this matchup. Fetzer reacted by putting up a base at the front position, then another unusual thing happened: reapers leading to a 10 units, 5 workers killed by the reapers with nearly no cost! Fetzer went 3 base and was too greedy after that, while Svensken was preparing a push to which Fetzer lost his 3rd base leading to a 25 supply lead, in which the game was basically over already.
Fetzer couldn`t defend the push and lost.
Svensken takes 1-0 lead
G2
Dual Sight
Fetzer has prepared a nice 7 Roach rush with a zergling at 17 to hold of all scouts, which made it impossible for Svensken to know what was coming. Svensken reacted wrong by going reactor hellion opening, which failed miserably. A supply dropped supply depot went down to the roaches and that was the beginning of the end for Svensken.
The push worked out well and svensken couldnt recover.
1-1
G3
Antiga Shipyard
This time Fetzer hide a drone to get up the expansion even though svensken has really good denying skills, by cancelling a drone to get it up faster! Fetzer was going for a roach baneling allin but ran into svensken doing a 2port banshee build, which kind of leads to a build order loss. Fetzer tried to defend with spore crawlers and queens, but svensken had really good micro with his banshees. The game ended when banshees killed both hatches and marines+tanks+marauders were incoming to finish it off.
Svenksen wins 2-1
Match 2
G1
Sc2cl Shakuras Plateau
HappyToss went for 2 proxy gates. Noreflex saw it and built some cannons, but wasn`t able to hold his mass zealot push.
Happytoss takes 1-0 lead
G2
Dual Sight
HappyToss went for fast dark templars, but Noreflex was able to get observer out in time. Build order advantage for Noreflex, and he was able to push it to win the game.
1-1
G3
Terminus
Much like G1, HappyToss went proxy 2 gate. This time Noreflex holds the push with mass cannons, and destroys proxy gates. Now HappyToss is on defence and builds cannons, but Noreflex uses warp prism to unload units inside opponents base and takes the win.
Noreflex wins 2-1
Match 3
G1
Sc2cl Shakuras Plateau
Both players go for fast expands, 1 rax gasless and 1 gate. Few small engagements over xelnaga towers for map control. Sickneel goes for 6 gate push, but Jimmeh scans at the perfect time, puts down bunkers and defends. Jimmeh couter pushes and wins the game.
Jimmeh takes 1-0 lead
G2
GSL Daybreak
Once again, both players want to go for fast expansions. Jimmeh delays expo with engeneering bay block. Jimmeh is agressive with mmm force, but Sickneel defends. Both players take 3rd bases. Jimmeh is agressive again with push into natural, and drops in main and 3rd at the same time. Sickneel defends first wave of push, but Jimmeh has better economy, and eventually wins with attacks on all 3 bases.
Jimmeh wins 2-0
Match 4
Oldskool couldn`t make it to match in time, but opponents were very nice and agreed to delay match for over an hour. Since all other matches were allready over, including 2v2 matches, and the score was 2-2, we agreed that match will be streamed with commentary by one of SE players.
G1
Sc2cl Shakuras Plateau
Both players go for an pool-gas openers, with hatchery followup. Small ling/bling fights in early game, but no player has advantage. Both players expand again. Reaper snipes opponent`s 3rd base, and manages to hold his 3rd. Oldskool has roach infestor army composition, while Reaper has the same, but with some hydra support. Oldskool attacks, and Reaper has got much better engagement and wins the game.
Reaper takes 1-0 lead
G2
Entombed valley
Both players opened standard. Oldskool drones a bit more, and sends queen from natural to hunt for opponents overlord, but Reaper sends lings and kills the queen. This puts Reaper in larvae advantage, and he takes 30 supply lead into mid game. Both players take 3rd bases with smaller engagements, but Reaper is always ahead in both economy and army supply. Both players have roach infestor army at this point. Reaper tech to broodlors, and Oldskool goes for corruptors. In big fight Oldskool snipes all broodlords and wins the fight, which leads to a game win.
1-1
G3
Antiga Shipyard
Oldskool goes for 10 pool with speed, while Reaper goes for hatch first. Reaper scouts 10p, cancels his hatch, build pool and 2 spines. Oldskool micro`s his lings well, and as he puts pressure, he also drones in his main, and throws down his expo. Both players have baneling nest, and Oldskool holds opponents ramp, while macroing at his bases. This leads to a very big economy lead for Oldskool, and he wins the game.
Oldskool wins 2-1
Match 5 (2v2)
Since our regular 2v2 team couldn`t play, we decided to put Noreflex and Sickeel in team. This team never played togeher in 2v2. Both players main races is P, but Sickneel played offrace as Z.
G1
Tyrador Keep
SE wanted to go for macro game, and nD scouts inbase hatch first. nD goes for 4 gate + baneling bust. SE defends first wave of attack, but as reinforcements started to arrive, nD takes the win.
nD takes 1-0 lead
G2
The Boneyard
This game, SE wants to go for an early hellion + baneling push, as nD tryes to set up a good economy. Noreflex puts down very good defensive forcefields, and nD defends. nD goes for counter attack with gateway + ling/bling force and wins the game.
nD wins 2-0

In 2005 Northern-Darkness was organising a Starcraft:Broodwar tourney series, with three tourneys. About 300 players, 100 in each tourney, fought versus each other for being one of the winners. Due to the fact that many players took part in it, the tourney admins found many good replays and finally decided to create a movie. It was one of the first very big events of our, at that time young, clan and the link to our page was www.northern-darkness.de.vu .To remember this first big event and also a beautiful time of our clan, we loaded up the old movie to our page, as usual all registered users can download it here.
